We are not in our body without knowledge of what we are.
Embodiment and understanding what where and how to embody go hand in hand. The heart, lung, brain, mind, emotions, instincts and all other parts is required to make a healthy human being.
Spiritual / cultural platitudes when oversimplified and taken too seriously can act like an infection on consciousness. For example, “head to your heart” as if you can be better centered in your heart without a head on… Or taken too far; The mind and thinking can become altogether demonized to the point of actually being considered demonic… a “trap” making something automatic and natural effectively into a foe. We can make parts integral to our cohesiveness into enemies and become like headless chickens. Or heartless heads. Etc.
If there were any true alchemy it would be understanding the totality of parts and how to use them each effectively and cohesively.
We could send an expression from our heart, or our head, our genitalia or our stomach, as each of us often do but nothing could be more effective than the fully informed totality of the whole body and being together; Every part used and nothing discarded.
