Intention

We meet again, somehow, somewhere, in some time, just as any two souls do, at a crossroads along this unpredictable and mysterious road of first discovering and then learning to accept the human experience. This road can be humbling. At particular junctures each of us will be at least tempted to use our free will to opt out of the side of life that is inevitable. One such inevitability is the force of evolution. It is within the design of all the creation that we shall learn, grow and evolve. So each and every human is learning to human. And we’re learning to human in ways that are constantly being refined and tested so we can become the best we can possibly be.

There are essential pillars that makes up a strong, powerful, capable, and inspiring human being. One essential cornerstone is our skill of communication. Words hold power and dependent on how we use words will entirely affect our interactions with others and the world by and large. How effectively we break apart and define surrounding phenomenon determines how well we relate with all phenomenon.

The word ‘intention’ indicates a holding of something. It means an objective and direction is held and that there is a focal point much like how an eagle’s eye focuses and zooms in upon its target. The eagle focuses by placing its entire vision on one precise object and simultaneously tuning out the rest. Intention and boundaries go hand in hand. As we mindfully reduce, with focused intention, we become moreso empowered, precise and live with greater efficiency.

Beginning any act intentionally we clear away the clutter between ourselves and the end goal allowing for learning and growth to occur spaciously and also quickly without wasted time or energy. We put a frame around what our goals are with healthy boundaries so not to lose sight of them. Highlighting, minimizing, reducing, honing, refining, means more from less. Effective means generating a desired outcome with as little lost or scattered as possible.

Intention can be brought to every facet our life; Every word, movement, daily requirement, creative meandering, can begin by holding a powerful focus even before initiating our first steps.
